#25 Summer Top in Grigna

 
 

This garment was knitted using Grigna (available from Yeoman Yarns - see Links page for address), plus a small amount of 4-ply contrast yarn for the edgings. It is an easy to knit, easy to wear summer top that could double as evening attire.

The pattern is written in a range of sizes from 32 - 46" (81.5 - 117cm). The first size used approximately 190g of Grigna.

#26 Sideways Knitted Top with Weaving & Lace Detail

 
 

This garment has been worked with some interesting detail that I am sure you will enjoy doing. It was knitted using Bramwell Artistic (available from BSK Ltd - see Links page for address) but any similar yarn could be used. Citadella Tian (available from Yeoman Yarns - see Links page for address) was used for the weaving but, again, any similar yarn could be substituted.

The pattern is written in sizes ranging from 34 - 48" (86.5 - 122cm); the first size used approximately 215g of Artistic.

#27 Grigna Top with Lace Yoke

 
 

This summer top has been knitted in Grigna (available from Yeoman Yarns - see Links page for address), a very easy to knit garment for any standard gauge machine with a lace carriage.

The pattern is written in sizes 34 - 44" (86.5 - 112cm); the small size used approximately 165g. Punch cards are included with this pattern for lace on both the Knitmaster and Brother machines.

#28 V-neck Top with Fancy Centre Panel & No Shoulder Seams

 
 

The front and back of this garment have been knitted all in one piece with no shoulder seams. The garment was knitted using two strands of fine crepe (Uppingham Yarns or Yeoman Yarns - see Links page for addresses).

The pattern is written in sizes 34 - 44" (86.5 - 112cm); the small size used approximately 280g. This is a very easy to follow pattern with pretty edgings.

#29 Evening Jacket in 4-ply Lurex

 
 

This lovely evening jacket has been knitted in 4-ply lurex (available from Uppingham Yarns - see Links page for address). The garment can be knitted on any standard gauge machine with a lace carriage.

The pattern is written in sizes 34 - 44" (86.5 - 112cm); the small size used approximately 350g. Punch cards are included with this pattern for lace on both the Knitmaster and Brother machines.

#30 Hand Tooled Lace Top with Step Neckline

 
 

This pretty hand tooled lace top is very easy to knit. The sample was knitted in Bramwell Artistic (available from BSK Ltd - see Links page) but any similar yarn could be used on any standard gauge machine.

The pattern is written in sizes 34 - 44" (86.5 - 112cm); the small size used approximately 195g.

#31 Shaped Stole in Tuck Lace

 
 

This evening stole has been shaped at the back for a better fit. The sample was knitted with two strands of fine crepe plus one strand of fine lurex. Any fine yarn could be used e.g. 2/30s (one strand) plus lurex as there is no tension square needed; any standard gauge machine can be used.

#32 Cambridge Skirt Version 2

 
 

This easy to wear skirt can be matched with patterns #33 or #34 to make a lovely suit. As this skirt is knitted sideways, it can be made to fit any size. One strand of Grigna Solid plus two strands of matching Super Sheen (both available from Yeoman Yarns - see Links page for address) with small amounts of contrast are required. One cone each of Grigna Solid and Super Sheen is enough for most sizes.

#33 Flared Edge to Edge Jacket

 
 

This longer length jacket compliments the skirt (pattern #32). One strand of Grigna Solid plus two strands of matching Super Sheen (both available from Yeoman Yarns - see Links page for address) were used along with small amounts of contrast yarns.

The pattern is written in sizes 34 - 44" (86.5 -112cm). One cone of each yarn (Grigna Solid plus Super Sheen) are enough for either size.

#34 Top with Frill Cuffs

 
 

I made this lovely top to complement the skirt (pattern #32). The main body has been knitted all in one piece with no shoulder seams. One strand of Grigna Solid plus two strands of matching Super Sheen (both available from Yeoman Yarns - see Links page for address) were used along with small amounts of contrast yarns.

The pattern is written in sizes 34 - 48" (86.5 - 122cm). One cone of each yarn (Grigna Solid and Super Sheen) are enough for any size.

#35 Grigna Summer Top with Flared Cap Sleeve

 
 

This useful summer top is very easy to knit using Grigna (available from Yeoman Yarns - see Links page for address) on any standard gauge machine.

The pattern is written in sizes ranging from 32 - 46" (81.5 - 117cm); the small size used approximately 180g. Teamed with #40 Fishtail Skirt, you would have a lovely summer suit. Two cones of Grigna would be enough for both garments.

#36 Tuck Skirt with Plain Godets

 
 

This winter weight tuck stitch skirt is lovely to wear and very easy to knit. Any 4-ply wool would be suitable as would Shetland wool. The skirt is knitted sideways so the pattern could easily be adapted to fit any size (just add on extra panels).

The grey sample used approximately 380g of Shetland Wool. For the small size (length 31") the red sample used approximately 375g and was knitted using King Cole Pure Wool - available from BSK Ltd (see Links page for address).

#37 Top with Lace Centre Panel and Lace Edges

 
 

An attractive top made with Bramwell Artistic (available from BSK Ltd) or any similar yarn. The centre panel can be worked as a single motif or hand tooled. Punch cards are included for both Knitmaster and Brother machines for the lace hem and cuffs; a pretty neckline edge is also featured.

The pattern is written in sizes 34 - 48" (86.5 - 122cm); the small size used approximately 245g.

#38 V-neck Top with Pretty Contrast Edges

 
 

This garment can be knitted in any 4-ply yarn that knits to the correct tension. The edges are quite unusual and the tooling for the V-neck is very attractive.

The pattern is written in sizes 34 - 48" (86.5 - 122cm); the small size used approximately 250g of Worth's Polar.

#39 Garter Carriage Summer Cardigan

 
 

A nice, easy garter carriage jacket using a Brother electronic. A manual Brother machine with a garter carriage can be used but you would have to use a different design that knitted to the correct tension. The sample was knitted using Bramwell Artistic (available from BSK Ltd - see Links page for address) but any similar yarn could be used.

The pattern is written in sizes 34 - 48"( 86.5 - 122cm); the medium size used approximately 350g.

#40 Fishtail Skirt in Grigna

 
 

This easy to knit fishtail skirt hangs well and is very flattering. It is knitted using Grigna (available from Yeoman Yarns - see Links page for address).

The pattern is written in sizes 36 - 47" (91.5 - 119.5cm) hip. As the skirt is knitted sideways, larger sizes can be made by adding on extra panels. The small size (27" length) used approximately 360g.

#41 V-neck Top with Centre Panel & Frilled Cuffs

 
 

This pretty V-neck top has been made using various techniques with the cuff detail adding interest. The sample was knitted using two strands of fine crepe (available from Uppingham Yarns or Yeoman Yarns - see Links page for addresses).

The pattern is written in sizes 34 - 44" (86.5 -112cm). The first size used approximately 290g plus a small amount of contrast lurex (optional); the contrast yarn could be any suitable 4-ply.

#42 Wide Neck Top with Lace Sleeves

 
 

This wide neck top has a slightly scooped neckline and lace sleeves. The garment has been made using Cascade from BSK Ltd (see Links page for address) but any similar yarn could be used.

The pattern is written in sizes ranging from 32 - 48" (81.5 - 122cm); the extra small size used approximately 295g.

#43 Zipped Jacket with Collar and Pockets

 
 

This garment has been knitted on a Brother 950i using Double Knitting (DK) yarn. This yarn knits easily on standard gauge machines at a loose tension. The zip is concealed in a neat enclosure; a must have garment for cold winter days.

The pattern is written in sizes ranging from 34 - 46" (86.5 - 117cm); the medium size used approximately 490g.

#44 Short Sleeve Top with Unusual Neck Detail and Fancy Hems

 
 

This pretty top has been knitted using three strands of fine crepe. The garment is very easy to make, even if you are a beginner; the neck detail is particularly pretty.
